Antoine Boyer

 

Antoine Boyer has drunk from the most authentic sources of gypsy jazz, a disciple in particular of the masters Mandino Reinhardt and Francis Alfred Moerman. He has been programmed by most of the festivals dedicated to gypsy swing in the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as: Yamandu Costa, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Raphael Faÿs etc.

At the same time, he studied classical guitar in Paris at a very early age alongside Gérard Abiton. He is the winner of numerous prizes such as the European Guitar Award (Dresden) and the Montigny Classical Guitar Competition. He is also the first guitarist to be named "Revelation" by the two magazines Guitare Classique and Guitar Acoustic.

Navigating from classical to jazz via flamenco and world music, and with his many musical collaborations, his virtuosity and his different playing techniques have allowed him to develop a style of his own, uniquely mixing the various musical worlds he has encountered.
